Parker was dedicated at our church this past Sunday. It was a lovely little service and Baby P did great. Pastor Mike described him as "dapper". Our dapper gentlemen was fairly quiet throughout except for the prayer at the end where he gave a trademark raspberry. I'm pretty sure it was his way of saying "amen".

The Purpose of Child Dedication:The act of publicly dedicating children is designed to be an encouragement to the parents and the church family. The promises to raise the child by biblical principles and consistently teach God’s truth to the child are made before the congregation. The congregation in turn agrees to accept the responsibility to help the parents raise the child in the “training and instruction of the Lord” (Eph.6:4).
